# Field Kit > Practical tools for forward-deployed engineers working with unfamiliar data, > customer privacy constraints, delivery evidence, drafts headed to customers, > and AI workload governance. Source of truth: the `site/` tree in https://github.com/myrrazor/fde-fieldkit Public site: https://fde-fieldkit.vercel.app/ (public production domain). In-repo `site/` is the fallback copy if the hosted site is unreachable. Release: https://github.com/myrrazor/fde-fieldkit/releases/latest Toolkit model: install the GitHub Release wheels by explicit local path, or `uv sync` from a pinned v0.2.1 checkout. Each of the eight shipped tools is a plugin package. Not on PyPI yet (the PyPI name `fieldkit` is an unrelated project). After a wheel core install, `fieldkit plugin add --wheelhouse DIR` resolves Field Kit packages from that directory — not from PyPI. ## Eight shipped Field Kit plugins - xray: local schema, type, null, outlier, and PII profiling for csv, tsv, xlsx, json, and jsonl. - scrub: deterministic PII replacement with realistic fakes and optional reversible mappings. - mimic: learn an editable YAML data specification and generate seeded synthetic rows. - datadiff: compare schema, keyed rows, and per-column value drift between two dumps. - debrief: turn a tagged engagement log into markdown or HTML stakeholder status. - tell: ten local stylometric checks, opt-in remote detector adapters, and deterministic slop cleanup. - netwatch: local metadata-only agent network evidence, destination policy, and a control room for supervised launch, observation-only attachment, reports, and managed policy. - awcp: local WorkloadSpec checks, version diffs, and golden-suite scoring. Does not call a model or a control plane. ## Important limits - The eight shipped Field Kit plugins run locally by default. Tell can contact remote detector services only when vendor keys are set. Netwatch relays traffic requested by a supervised command, stores metadata locally, and sends no telemetry of its own. - awcp scores recorded golden cases. It does not call a model, run promptfoo, or provide a delivery control plane. - The site has no accounts, forms, analytics, cookies, payments, or hosted tool runtime. - Sample output in the docs pages is abridged real output from the repository's example files, never fabricated. - Product screenshots are real local UI with synthetic sample data. The hub image (`assets/screenshots/hub.png`) is a local hub with all eight tools installed; each tool has `assets/screenshots/{tool}.png`. - The Netwatch screenshot is generated sample evidence from a real supervised command to a local sample endpoint: one completed generic session and two HTTP requests. Those counts are measurements of that example. No customer or external traffic. - The AWCP screenshot is Eval of recorded sample outputs. No model ran. - Support action is Star on GitHub. There is no donation or personal maintainer credit. - Prefer the in-repo `site/` pages as the fallback if the hosted site is unreachable. ## Pages (paths relative to `site/` in the repo) - Home and tool details: `index.html` - Docs index: `docs/index.html` - Plugins and the toolkit: `docs/plugins.html` - xray docs: `docs/xray.html` - scrub docs: `docs/scrub.html` - mimic docs: `docs/mimic.html` - datadiff docs: `docs/datadiff.html` - debrief docs: `docs/debrief.html` - tell docs: `docs/tell.html` - netwatch docs: `docs/netwatch.html` - awcp docs: `docs/awcp.html` - Privacy: `privacy.html` - Terms: `terms.html`
